I provide individual psychotherapy and couples therapy for people experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, chronic stress and difficulties with emotional intimacy, identity, and sense of self.
My approach is grounded in psychodynamic psychotherapy and psychoanalytic theory. I also integrate elements of cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and mindfulness-based techniques. I work with each person to deepen understanding of their inner experience and make sense of the internal conflicts that shape how we see ourselves, our relationships, and the world. Stress and emotional pain are a universal part of life. I believe people have the capacity to work through this pain, allowing for greater ease, authenticity, and freedom of choice.
